OUR STORY
Lincoln Park Brass is a chamber brass ensemble made up of some of the finest musicians in Chicago. It was founded in 2002 while its members were students at DePaul University. Years later, this group of professional musicians continue to perform together and individually, often with some of the finest ensembles throughout the Chicago area, such as the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Elgin Symphony, Chicago Sinfonietta, and many of the local and regional symphonies in the area. Lincoln Park Brass has appeared on several recital series, including those at Wheaton College Community School of the Arts, First United Church of Oak Park, Bethel United Church of Christ in Elmhurst, and First Presbyterian Church in Deerfield. They have commissioned works by composer Chris Teichler and have collaborated with organists Rhonda Sider Edgington and William Crowle. Their music has been featured in venues such as Symphony Center, The United Center, and on State Street in Chicago, as well as numerous retirement homes, schools, and churches. In 2014 they were part of a worship service at Christ Church of Oak Brook that was broadcast nationwide on Easter morning.
